Level Two: Tree Medicine
Continuing Herbal Studies for 2nd Year Students and Beyond
This 2014-2015 class will be focused exclusively on Tree Medicine. We will be primarily learning how to identify and use Texas trees. Don’t miss out!
Open to all continuing students from Sacred Journey School and elsewhere. Meets with herbalist Ginger Webb of Texas Medicinals twice a month on Thursday nights for an opportunity to go deeper with our plant allies.
Each week, we will focus on a different important tree and delve in deeper. Students are expected to do research on each tree and family/group prior to class. We will use every avenue known to us to understand the tree, from botany, physiology, taste and other senses, intuition, extrapolation, experiential learning, Chinese, Ayurvedic, and other herbal medicine systems, books, internet, clinical studies, etc.
