Rites of Passage into the Heart with Sheri Hupfer, Fri. March 3rd, 2017
At the foundation of every ailment, each expression of “dis-ease” within the physical body is an obstruction within the emotional being, blood, vibration or Chi. Flower essences, homeopathy and Western herbalism have created a trinity of support with the spirits of certain plants which hold an affinity for the spiritual heart center. Over the last 7 years I have been dedicated to exploring the ways in which certain plants may support our authentic experience with intimacy, self love, sexuality & stepping into our full potential in our personal expression. We will travel through the cycle of life and the cardinal directions as we touch on rites of passage and our emotional evolution through wounding, establishing healthy boundaries, protection & healing with the unconditional love & support of 6 beautiful plant allies.
Friday, March 3rd, 6:30-9:00 pm in East Austin (address sent upon registration).
$33 early bird for the 2.5 hour class. $38 after Feb. 24th, 2017.
*Due to the limited number of spaces available, we cannot offer refunds on classes.*
About the Teacher:
Sheri M. Hupfer: Witch, wild crafter & medicine maker of the wearable
Through the collecting of bone, petal, root, metal and leather she offers much of her medicine in the form of adornment. She believes that in a time when much of our plant medicine is being misused, clear cut or over harvested, the creation of amulets and talisman, flower essences and the use of drop doses can serve to support the sustainability of our plant allies and the medicine they offer.
She has been teaching for over 9 years at the CSCH in Boulder, Co and has offered community classes at Sacred Journey School of Herbalism, Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine, Sage Country Herb School, & Naropa University. As a nomad, she continues to teach, create & weave together her love of art & medicine wherever she is called. She believes in teaching from the heart & sharing from personal experience as she gathers the songs & stories of the natural world.
