Join SJS Apprentice Amber Herndon for a stroll around the beautiful property at Jester King Brewery focusing on the medicinal uses of local plants. The walk will be outside, so please dress accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, check your email the morning of the event for updates. This walk has a suggested donation of $10 – $20.

Amber has had a connection to plants for as long as she can remember. As a fourth generation gardener, her hands have always been in the soil and connected to the earth. She earned a Bachelors in Horticulture and Business (with a focus on Horticultural/Eco-therapy) and has continued to make plants her career through sustainable organic farming and Native/adapted Plant identification. Her plant education has extended into Herbalism and she is working toward her goal of becoming a Registered Herbalist to help people with mental health issues in foraging a connection to the earth around them!
