Medicinal Minute: Doll's Eyes (Actea pachypoda)

A note from Ginger:

Doll's Eyes is mostly known for its toxicity, not its medicinal properties. However, its sister Black Cohosh (Actea racemosa, formerly Cimicifuga racemosa) is highly regarded for its medicinal properties in support of women experiencing symptoms of menopause. Another sister, Red Baneberry (Actea rubra), straddles the line a bit, both known for its toxicity and its medicinal effects. I would not personally use Doll's Eyes medicinally, but it sure is a fun looking plant. BOO!
