Join SJS Teacher Lauren Peterson and apprentices for a skill share on making smoke bundles (and why we don't call them smudge sticks) with abundant wild and locally grown plants! We will provide fresh juniper leaves and string and participants are invited to bring additional aromatic herbs from their garden or yard to use as well- especially rosemary, lavender, garden sage, and mugwort/estefiate! This is a come and go kind of event- you are welcome to stay the entire time and make several smoke bundles or just pop in when you can.

There is no charge to participate in this gathering- we just ask you to RSVP at the link below so we can prepare. You may choose to give a donation to support our Reparations Scholarships if you'd like when you RSVP or at the event.

Join SJS Teachers & Apprentices for a casual walks throughout the Spring focusing on the medicinal uses of local plants. All walks will be outside, so please dress accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, check your email the morning of the event for updates.
