ADVANCED COURSE

HERBAL ALLIES SERIES

Expand your knowledge of bioregional medicinal plants.

As a bioregional herbalist and Texas medicinal plant expert, Ginger Webb has been wanting to make this offering for years. Herbal Allies is an opportunity to indulge in just one bioregional herbal ally each evening, going more deeply than before with practical applications, historical references as well as those from other practicing herbalists all over the country, and a downloadable monograph for each plant. This is a new offering and we are very excited about it! Students enrolled in the on-going series will have the opportunity to suggest herbs for future classes!

INDIVIDUAL HERBAL ALLIES CLASSES

TAUGHT BY: Ginger Webb

Ginger has been deeply immersed in the study of herbs in central Texas for 30+ years and has supported hundreds to reconnect with the plant world as medicine. Since 2012, Sacred Journey School of Herbalism has offered in-depth herbalist programs to interested folx and new herbalists.

The school reflects Ginger’s deep love for the plants and for humanity; her study with the late great herbalist Michael Moore; her nerdy passion for botany, wild plants, and plant families; her years of experience making herbal medicines; her reverence for the wisdom of the ancients; and her belief that we all have access to the healing wisdom of the plant world simply by virtue of the fact that we are alive and share consciousness with all life.

What our students are saying:

"Ginger's knowledge and passion is inspiring, and her enthusiasm to share these  gifts with others make her courses beautiful and empowering."

-Aubrey Edwards, Foundations of Herbalism Grad 2019

"I want you to know how profoundly your class touched and changed my life. I have a new love and connection with plants and the earth that I’m sharing with my kids. A whole new world was opened up to me in your classes.”

-Jennifer Urbanczyk, Foundations of Herbalism Grad 2021

"Herbalism has been an extremely important part of my life the last few years, and being able to study alongside a group of incredible individuals has strengthened my love for plants and the community. Sacred Journey School of Herbalism has gifted me with eons of knowledge and wisdom that I can carry with me where ever I go! Embarking on this Journey has been life and mind changing in the most healing of ways.
Building relationships with the sweet Texas native medicinals has been one of the most deeply touching experiences anyone could have. We have so many plant allies and so many medicinal herbs around us hidden in plain sight, sometimes we just need to stop and smell the roses to rediscover them.”

-Zailyn Todasco, Foundations of Herbalism Grad 2020
