The purpose of this class is to introduce you to some standout herbs to stock in your herbal first aid kit (for home or travel). We will also spend time discussing some common issues requiring first aid and herbal strategies to help resolve them- including what actions to look for in herbs. This way you can learn how to work with different herbs available to you if you do not have the exact herbs on our list!
Note: this class does not cover allopathic first aid measures (such as CPR, how to make a splint, etc.) nor is it a wilderness first aid course. We aim to cover common ailments that you may encounter at home or in the outdoors, with the assumption that you have access to higher care if needed.
