Medicinal Minute with Ginger Webb

Medicinal Minute: Cotton (Gossypium spp.)

A note from Ginger:

I honor the cotton plant for its incredible history as a warrior ally plant for women in their reproductive years. Enslaved women on cotton plantations worked intimately with this plant and developed a deep relationship with and understanding of its actions on their unwanted pregnancies. Nowadays, I see cotton root bark's power as an ally in birthing women, keeping them off the medical conveyor belt of intervention, allowing them to have natural births and to keep the mother/baby bond intact.
