Medicinal Minute with Ginger Webb
A note from Ginger:
Juniper is cherished throughout the world, in disparate cultures, as an herb used to cleanse (disinfect), bless, sanctify, honor, and heal. The dominant conifer in most of central Texas, we are surrounded by blessings. The rich aromatics of juniper reach into our memory banks and activate deep ancestral emotions. I love making infused oil with the leaves for bodywork. The berries (technically cones) ripen in November; when easily squished between your fingers, they are a delightful edible treat.
